fortress Investment is about to become the first hedge fund listed on the NYSE.

Fortress Investment is planning to sell up to $750m (£393m) worth of stock in an initial public offering on the New York Stock Exchange as it becomes the first hedge fund to list on the US exchange.
Is this evidence of a hedge fund bubble, or that hedge funds have finally become a mainstream investment vehicle, with all the respect that comes with that?
