Hedge Fund Billionaire Couple donate $19 Million to the Arts

Late last year, October I believe, Kenneth C. Griffin, president and CEO of citadel investment group, one of the world's largest hedge funds and his wife Anne Dias Griffin, founder of hedge fund Aragon Global Management, donated $19 million to the Art Institute of Chicago.
They are even getting a wing named after them, the "Kenneth and Anne Griffin Court." The Modern Wing's central court, scheduled to open in 2009, is expected to cost $260 million. I'm hoping that these kind of donations open the doors for more private wealth to find its way into the communities around them.
The Griffins have collections of modern art, and have been known to loan them out to museums and exhibitions. If anyone hears anything about hedge fund money being put to good use please drop me a line, I'd like to keep myself updated on this subject. At the moment I'm looking into the Cayman Charity Children's Fund as well.

I would donate for art at any time if I only had where from. I love almost any kind of art. Art makes people better. Unfortunately not many people love art anymore.
