A wealthy former hedge fund manager has been sentenced to 2 1/2 years in prison for plotting to have his former mistress abducted and raped.

Forty-three-year-old Albert Hsu of New Canaan pleaded guilty in October under a plea agreement.

Prosecutors say Hsu became upset when his mistress broke off their affair in 2005 and he stalked her for more than a year.
