Hedge Funds Care Charity 2008

$255,000 has been donated in grants to five institutions by the Hedge Funds Care Cayman (HFCC) 2008 grants.

The grantees are the Nadine Andreas Foster Home (operated by the NCVO), the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre, the CAYS Foundation, the Ministry of Education and the Human Rights Commission.

The HFCC said the selection came after an intensive grant selection process. The funds, which were raised from the "Open Your Heart to the Children" benefit last November, would support projects designed to treat and prevent child abuse and neglect in the Cayman Islands. The next fundraising dinner is set for 15 November at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman.
