S. Korea Thinking Of Allowing Hedge Funds
In Yonhap News today, South Korea will consider allowing hedge funds as part of efforts to promote its financial markets once its asset management market becomes solid, the finance minister said Monday.

"Once a solid foundation is laid for asset management after the Capital Markets Consolidation Act takes effect, we will consider plans for allowing hedge funds," Finance and Economy Minister Kwon Oh-kyu said in an international financial forum in Seoullinks.
