A prime broker is simply a broker that offers a group of specialized services to top clients. This service spawned from the needs of hedge funds, but is useful for anyone who is a serious trader. This is good information, however a lot of person are still afraid to get involved because of the recent fallout with some of these major edge funds. One has to do their due dilligence when considering hiring a Prime Brokerage.
